Information for potential visitors for academic collaboration

At the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities, we have a limited number of visitor spaces available each term. We welcome applications from both students* and academics to visit our Centre.

Visits are usually for a period of one month / four weeks, longer visits may be possible exceptionally.  You would be based in our offices at the Big Data Institute. We would also encourage you to give a talk at our weekly seminar series, and/or write a short blog for our website during your visit.

*Please note that the application process for entry to the University for students can take up to three months, therefore we recommend that when thinking about visiting our Centre, you plan your application at least three months ahead of when you would like to visit.

How to apply

To apply to be a visitor, please send the following documents to weh@bdi.ox.ac.uk:

All applications will be reviewed quarterly by our Academic Visitor application panel at the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities.
